ABSTRACT: Enhancing vocational education through the use of gamified learning modules represents a novel approach to improving student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of gamified learning in vocational education, identify specific skills and competencies enhanced through gamification, and assess student satisfaction with these innovative training methods. A survey design was employed to gather detailed data from students participating in vocational programs incorporating gamified learning modules. The sample size included 250 students from various technical institutions specializing in diverse vocational fields. Purposive sampling was used to select participants with prior exposure to basic gamification concepts. The case study was conducted at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that gamified learning significantly increased student engagement, improved their problem-solving skills, and enhanced their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. Students reported high satisfaction levels with the gamified learning modules, appreciating the interactive and motivating aspects of the training. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand the use of gamified learning in their programs and continuously update the content to include the latest industry-relevant scenarios and challenges.
